AAE 2024 Highlights

The endodontic industry is constantly changing, influenced by technological advancements and evolving patient expectations. Our attendance and participation at conferences help us better serve our referring partners and patients.

This year, Dr. Michael Shapiro and Dr. Nicholas Pelachyk represented Root Canal Specialty Associates at the AAE 2024 in Los Angeles.

Here are the highlights:

Mike and Nick had a fantastic time! They attended multiple educational sessions on various topics, including endodontic microsurgery, pediatric treatment, trauma, lasers, and Gentlewave. Along the way, we visited with many of the residents and faculty from U of M and saw many old friends.

As a session host for the Pulp Biology Track of AAE 2024, Dr. Shapiro had the distinct honor and privilege to introduce esteemed speakers in the areas of vital pulp therapy and pulp biology. Some of these included Drs. Ove Peters, Ron Lemon, and Franklin Tay. Thanks to Dr. Tatiana Botero, organizer of the Pulp Biology track, for this honor!

In addition, lots of time was spent on the exhibit hall floor taking in the latest innovations in materials, technologies, and techniques from companies around the world.

It wouldn't be a complete conference without some great food and some fun. Mike and Nick enjoyed a great meal together at Badmaash, an awesome and unique Indian restaurant. And their final evening of AAE 20204 was at Universal Studios - where they spent time hanging out with Doc Brown, Betelgeuse, and Marge Simpson and evaded the dementors on the thrilling rides in Harry Potterland.

If you would like to hear more about our participation in industry conferences or continuing education we'd love to hear from you.
